New Album by Melissa Etheridge

Pre-order RISE - out March 27

Global rockstar and cultural icon Melissa Etheridge presents her new album Rise on Sun Records. The project contains heartfelt and triumphant songs produced by Shooter Jennings and Melissa Etheridge at Sunset Sound in LA. Eleven brand new songs include “Don’t You Want a Woman”, “Bein’ Alive”, “Call You”, and “The Other Side of Blue”, co-written by and featuring Chris Stapleton. As Melissa sagely notes, “sometimes you’re gonna taste the dirt, but then you’re gonna rise.”

Tom Jones Honored and New E-Novel

Another highly influential artist, Sir Tom Jones, will be honored with the annual Music Industry Trusts Award this year. Attendees of this charity event will receive a compilation CD of songs personally chosen by Tom, two of which are Sun Records Artists. Among others, Johnny Adams’ “Reconsider Me” and Little Junior’s Blue Flames’ “Feelin’ Good” are songs that mean a lot to Tom.

Sun Records continues to be an image for the history of Rock ‘N’ Roll, as the Sun Records logo has been used on the cover of a new e-novel, Cadillac’s Comin’ by Mike Dennis. The e-book is available now on Amazon Kindle.
