French Truck Coffee Partners with Sun Records and Andrew Zimmern to Launch Limited Collaboration Coffee

New blend debuts September 16 at AmericanaFest in Nashville

NEW ORLEANS, LA — September 16, 2026 — French Truck Coffee today announced a collaboration with Sun Records and Andrew Zimmern to release a limited-edition coffee blend. The product launches at AmericanaFest in Nashville and will be available across multiple channels starting the same day.

Sun Records — founded in Memphis in 1952 and home to Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins — is one of the most iconic labels in American music history. The label pioneered a sound rooted in blues, gospel, and country, and has spent the last 75 years shaping what American music looks and feels like. French Truck approached this collaboration with the same respect that went into building that catalog: carefully, with intention, and without shortcuts.

The blend was developed in close partnership with the Sun Records team. The goal was a coffee that felt approachable without being generic — something that matched the quality and character the Sun name carries. The result is a coffee that stands on its own, the way a great record does.

Andrew Zimmern’s Passport Hospitality brought Primary Wave the collaboration. “Primary Wave is a partner in 2 locations of the Sun Diner restaurant, a local fixture in Nashville and Gatlinburg since 2016 so coffee seemed like a great place for a venture built on the same values of Southern hospitality and American roots that define the Sun brand. And French Truck has created a superb coffee!”

“We’re incredibly excited to partner with Sun Records on this coffee collaboration. It’s a celebration of two things we love: great coffee and great music. Both have a way of bringing people together, creating moments, and telling stories, and we couldn’t think of a better partner to help us do that.” –Bobby Winston, CEO, French Truck Coffee

“When Sun Records opened its doors 75 years ago, they began creating music that would inspire and energize generations of artists and listeners around the world. We are excited to partner with French Truck Coffee in celebration of this milestone and hope this partnership energizes new and longstanding fans for years to come.” -Jared Auslander, Brand Partnerships Manager, Primary Wave Music

  • All 14 French Truck Coffee locations across New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and Memphis

  • Sun Diner (Nashville and Gatlinburg)
