Recorded at Sunset Sound in Los Angeles, RISE is Melissa's first studio album in five years and is her most personal project to date. RISE features eleven new heartfelt and triumphant songs - including a duet with Chris Stapleton - written and co-produced by Etheridge, who worked with GRAMMY winning producer, Shooter Jennings, on the album.

Celebrating Sam Phillips’ 100th Birthday at the Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum

We celebrated Sam Phillips’ 100^th birthday with his son, Jerry Phillips, at a special event held at the Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville. To celebrate, Jerry Phillips told stories of the legendary Sun Records and growing up around rock and roll icons such as Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, and many more. The event also included a tour of the Sun Records/Memphis Recording Service exhibit at the museum, which has now re-opened after renovations from flooding at the adjacent Municipal Auditorium.
