Roy Orbison

Roy Orbison

Go Go Go’, the B side to “Ooby Dooby’ was recorded. This was the first song written by Roy Orbison. Due to financial troubles and a lack of royalties, Sam Phillips eventually bought out all Roy’s songs on Sun Records and placed his name under songwriter, although Roy was the actual songwriter. This was later released by Jerry Lee Lewis and Ricky Nelson under the title, ‘Down The Line’.
